Guest Rules and Regulations

General Stay Information:

  • Dry RV spots ( no hookups) with kayaks will be available from July 21-August 28 2025
  • Minimum night stays vary depending on seasonality and demand
  • No stays longer than 7 nights for campsites
  • Guests may check in after 1pm for campsites. Check out is 11am
  • NO CHECK INS AFTER 11pm for campsites, as to not disturb other guests. Should you arrive with RV after 11pm, please park in nearby location and you may check in the next morning after 8:00am
  • We are unable to issue refunds due to weather
  • PLEASE NOTE that you must be able to open and close the property gate on entrance and exit
  • Two vehicles are allowed in each campsite, provided they fit without placing wheels off the gravel surface nor extend into the roadway. Vehicle is defined as a registered highway vehicle, towing vehicle or trailer; truck + camper = 2 vehicles, motorhome + car=2 vehicles
  • Please leave something to indicate occupancy if you temporarily leave your campsite
  • Please keep your valuables locked up, Talkeetna Lake Retreat LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen items

Conduct

  • The campground is a private property. We reserve the right to select our guests and visitors
  • Firearms, fireworks, slingshots and BB guns are prohibited
  • No occupant shall create a nuisance or interfere with the enjoyment of others of the retreat
  • Alcoholic beverages are to be consumed on private sites only
  • The use of vulgarity by adults or children will not be tolerated. Subjecting neighboring campsites to socially unacceptable behavior is a violation of Talkeetna Lake Retreat LLC rules
  • No business or commercial activity is permitted on property
  • Persons engaging in illegal activities with be subject to eviction
  • Tobacco use or smoking of any kind is prohibited on the property
  • Please report all inappropriate situations to management by text or phone call-- 907-982-0537

Pets

  • Only two pets per campsite
  • No additional charge
  • Insurance provider prohibits Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, Chow, Malamute, or a mix of any of those breeds
  • Pets must be kept on a short leash (not extended) with owner at other end at all times and any material must be cleaned up by owners
  • Noisy or aggressive dogs are not allowed
  • Barking dogs will not be tolerated and if barking persists you and dog(s) will be asked to leave the property

Lake

  • Lake access is 8am-10pm
  • Children under the age of 16 must have adult supervision at all times
  • Everyone should wear a life jacket, but children under 13 MUST wear a life jacket on boats, per Alaska state code
  • Please be courteous to your fellow campers, do not leave items on the dock, or tie down pets to any property, help to keep the area a peaceful one
  • All boats are shared and included with stay, staff ensures the day starts with clean and tidy boats, please leave them as you find them
  • There are no lifeguards on duty and you are at your own risk
  • No glass is allowed in boats or lake area
  • Lake rules are strictly enforced

Quiet Hours & Community Campfire

  • Quiet Hours are from 11pm-7am and community campfire must be extinguished by 11pm. Please think of your fellow campers
  • Playground/sand pit area is closed from 10pm-8am
  • Speed limits of 5 miles per hour are strictly enforced
  • No flammable or harmful liquids are allowed on site
  • community campfire allowed in fire ring only, please do not move the fire ring
  • Please do not cut any trees

Generators

Quiet hours are from 11pm—7am, this includes the use of generators. If all-night generators are required for medical reasons, please check with camp host before booking your stay with us

Storage, Trash & Recycling

  • Please keep your site neat & clean at all times
  • No draining of any (grey/black/clean) water tanks on property, nearest dump station is downtown Talkeetna or on the way to/from Denali in Trapper Creek (both 15 minutes away)
  • Clutter will not be allowed on sites
  • Garbage must be removed from your site and taken to the dumpster area on property
  • Garbage cans are not allowed at camp sites

Recreational Vehicles

  • Use of ATV's, dirt bikes, mini-bikes, roller blades, skateboards, longboards and radio controlled items such as planes, drones etc. are prohibited
  • Golf carts are not allowed

Motorcycles

In order to provide access privileges to owners with motorcycles, while at the same time maintaining the quality of life standards presently enjoyed on property; the below listed rules and regulations will govern motorcycle usage while on property:

  • Guests are allowed to drive his or her motorcycle to and from their site via the Parks Highway. Absolutely no guests of site renters, or visitors, may bring or use motorcycles on the property at any time
  • Motorcycle access is allowed only between the hours of 8am and 9pm
  • Motorcycles cannot be used to travel between sites, the park area, or lake area
  • Maximum of 2 motorcycles per site.
  • Excessive noise will not be permitted

Bicycles

For everyone's safety, the following policies will be strictly enforced:

  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent
  • Bicycles must be parked with courtesy to other guests in mind
  • No bicycles at lake area
  • Peg riding is not allowed
  • Safe bicycle riding is expected
  • Failure to comply with bicycle policies will result in loss of riding privileges
  • Parents are responsible for advising their children and visitors of our bicycle policies


Children

  • Children must follow all rules & regulation of Talkeenta Lake Retreat LLC
  • Children under the age of 12 must be under the supervision of a guardian at all times

Club House

  • club house that includes indoor shower/flush toilet and camp store with self serve ice/drinks/snacks/merchandise is open from 8am-10pm
  • portable toilet and outdoor showers are open at all times
